Pink Ripple Thyme is still blooming sporadically, but the plants are incredible (see below). They could easily pass for a 2 gal plant

Hummelo Stachys is a Lamb's Ear that is quite a bit different. It has very showy flowers and smooth, medium green leaves. This is another that is thriving and totally dwarfing the little 1 gallon pot.

Yet another low, groundcover-type perennial that is doing exceptionally well this year: Georgia Blue Veronica


New England Aster is blooming now (photos above and below). It is a native species which shows in the flower color variations.

Fireworks Goldenrod just keeps getting brighter and brighter. It has such a nice form and gorgeous shot of color for the fall.

Perennials

The perennials are still going strong, here are some that are still blooming or just looking great:



Helene Von Stein Lamb's Ear is doing very well and is available now.


Golden Moneywort (Lysimachia) is a very versatile perennial. It is a low-growing groundcover that has bright yellow leaves and darker yellow flowers. It can tolerate very wet soils and does well around ponds.

Fireball Hardy Hibiscus has just started blooming. It has one of the biggest, reddest blooms with deep wine red maple-like foliage.



Crown Jewels Hardy Hibiscus is covered in buds. It has red-purple foliage similar to Fireball, but blooms white with a touch of pale pink and a deep red eye.

Another great perennial groundcover is Purple Poppy Mallow (Callirhoe involucrata). It has leaves similar to Geranium but stays very low and spreads easily. The flowers are bright pink-purple and are larger than most groundcover flowers.


We recently started carrying Blue Chip Butterfly Bush. It is a low-growing, compact, shrubby perennial with dark foliage an large clusters of bright blue-purple flowers.


Becky Daisy is a classic and looks so sweet in a mass. We have #1 pots and a crop of #2 pots that should be ready for sale in 1-2 weeks.


Angelique Yarrow is on its second round of bright red blooms. The flowers are a true red and will fade to a dusty pink as they mature.
